Discover how to overcome the limits imposed by steep terrain and narrow locations

Bresciani Autotrasporti, already owning an Effer 585, has once again chosen the quality of these cranes for his fleet by purchasing the crawler CWE 525 presented as a preview at SAIE 2014 in Bologna (Italy) by Brennero Gru.

The Effer crane 525 was installed on the crawler (width 1.85 m for a maximum height of 2.50 m and a length of less than 5 m) in its maximum configuration, complete with an extra jib, a 2 ton winch and a platform for aerial work.

The stabilization system (“double V”) is managed by Scanreco remote control thanks to the electronic control system Progress, standard on the model 525, ensuring an excellent performance in complete safety. With 3000 kg of removable ballast (optional) the crane is stable and reliable also working with its boom horizontally extended.

The tracks of the crawler have a tensile force of 65.85 kN, allowing the means to move easily even on steep terrain and dirt patches. The CWE 525 is moved by a diesel engine combined with an electric one to work even within enclosed structures.
In addition, it is easy to carry the CWE 525: its total weight is only 13 tons!

These features make the CWE 525 an extremely ambitious project. The installation of a crane with a lifting capacity exceeding 50 txm on a self-propelled vehicle capable of reaching operational areas is usually off-limits. The experience of two historic companies like Effer and Brennero gru allows us to lets meet the most differentiated operational needs with high levels of customization and delivery of specific accessories.
