EFFER is derived from the latin word, ‘effero’, to lift. Since 1965, passion and innovation have continued to elevate the standards higher and higher.

1965 - The P65 is the first EFFER loader crane launched, founded near Bologna, Italy

1966 - First mechanical JIB launched

1988 - World’s first over 200Tm crane launched, still in operation today

2001 - World’s first decagonal boom was introduced. Inspires further innovation including the CroSStab and V-Stab

2014 - The most advanced bi-directional connectivity is launched

2018 - EFFER is acquired by the Hiab/Cargotec group
